COMPANY
Somaschini S.p.a travels quickly into the future, without forgetting their history and tradition. It began in 1922, almost a century ago, and through four generations of entrepreneurs, it became a leader in the design and construction of gears, to the point of becoming a hallmark of Cie Automotive Gears Division, group of global prominence.
After moving from Milan to Trescore Balneario, in the province of Bergamo, during World War II, Somaschini has always relied on vanguard methods and technologies, becoming synonym with expertise and reliability.
Somaschini Automotive, highly automated company for the production of timing gears and balance gears for big series engines, was founded in 2007.
In 2010, within their international growth plan, they opened a U.S. plant in South Bend, in Indiana, which took the name of Somaschini North America.

Every year, challenging goals are set out, in combination with those, always present, of producing in the best way (quality), protecting its employees (safety), in the safeguard of the environment where they operate (environment).
This vision is extended either to Somaschini suppliers, involved and encouraged to adopt the same values.
